Local Oktoberfest

So was my so called weekend this week having Friday & Saturday off. So of course i make the most of it, as always & see as many of my friends as possible. They bring me such joy.
So Started off on Thursday night. perfect to go out then since i have Friday off. ("making the most of every little bit")
I hate getting ready at work because you just never feel as nice and refreshed. However was the only option for it to work and see everyone so as soon at 6pm hit i got all changed figured out what shoes i was wearing and started curling my hair. i hate having my hair straight now since i have blonde at the ends of it. just doesn't look anything special. Im glad thought because after all these years im only starting to curl my hair. so big change in both ways.Anyways put on some of my Giorgio Armani Lipstick which i luv at the moment. And then i was off. Colleges of mine stayed back with me to get ready. which was so sweet of them. So I decided   who can be bothered catching a tram when you can get into a cab and go straight there. So that is what we did. hopped into a cab outside of work was there in 5min. So lucky because where i work is so close to the city but its just that little bit out.
I was meeting gf at Toff for a quick catch up over a refreshing glass of wine then follow onto to dinner with bunch of my old work people at Shanghai Dumplings in the city. So that automatically means drop by a bottle O and hang out at Section 8 which is right next door. Its pretty much a ritual. We always do it. have a few to many Champaign's over dinner since we all buy ! bottle each basically. So you can only imagine. All very fun and lovely catching up with them all the time. i get very annoyed at my girlfriend  Amanda because i always luv taking photis and she never wants to take any. i dont understand why because she is so cool quirky and Stylish but never any photos. POOOO to HER!!!!
woke up after an amazing and suprising sleep in on Friday morning. By time i got dressed and went back into the city to collect my car. Then get bits and pieces done. next thing i knew it was night time and Soph came around for dvds, nachoes & of course some wine. Pretty much a ritual as well. We hired two very typical commercial movies. My ultimate favourite : " Remember Me" & "Letters to juliet".
Neither of us lasted through one movie. We both fell asleep on the couch. Poor effort i know.Grrr i hate being so tired and exhausted never ends. Owell we try.
Saturday Made my way down to the dress maker to see if i could get my shirt designed for Derby Day/ Spring Carnival. im so so excited to have friends over do a champaign breakfast at the park at the end of my street then get to enjoy the lovely day of sun fashion and friends and champaign. Can't wait.
Hayley came around to mine later on in the afternoon as i took my time getting dressed curling my hair again while watching "letters to Juliet"' OMG Chris Egan looks so So GOOD LOOKING in this film. And of course so does Amanda Seyfred but she Always does.She is Stunning so Beautiful.Perfect Long blonde luscious hair big eyes perfect lips. ooo how i envy her.
Anyways after we had nibbled on dips and crackers and glass of wine headed down to Carlisle Street. Main local strip of shops from my place. Shared a bottle of White Sauvignon Blanc then thought we would go for a stroll down the Street then ending up at the Local. Local is cute nice little bar with 20 different types of Beer with an outdoor balconey area. Im a big fan its so nice in the sunshine and summer.Luv it even more the fact its literally my Local. so Close to walk to from home. Turned out to be such a lovely afternoon. they were celebrating there own Oktoberfest which was very fun. scarey for how much we drank. considering the sizes of the beer. but here are few Happy snaps to share the lovely day that was.
To top off my Random fun weekend while i was at work my lovely colleague while she was sick she was trying to contact me that she found a cute little dress. was so sweet because she thought of me and thought its totally my style. So she bought it for me. So So sweet and thoughtful. ill post photos as soon i get it. cant wait.

Friday night Ritual with Soph

So its starting all again. Spring carnival. Im getting all excited but puzzeld at the same time. i finally got Derby day off. Best day at the races i think. Girls day, and everyone dresses in black and white. Usually i dont like being restricted with what colours to wear because i like to dress how i feel. but i found out something about myself. im  not a fan of bright block coloured dresses. I like my more serious toned colours but fit in with all nude and beige colours. Autumn colours. Charcoal, of course Khaki, mustard yellow, taupe, navy, deep burgundy, black, burnt orange, of course im going off topic again from what i wanted to write about.
So i had my outfit planned for derby which i was really excited about then i started to look peoples races photos and they are all wear strapless dresses. even my house-mate wants to wear strapless one. im not fussed with that but my outfit that i wanted to wear is always what i got for bold simple and has class. well i like to think that anyways. What i always like about spring carnival outfits are plain bold with big statement fascinater/hat, shoes or clutch. Im hat person so bigger the better.Always luv the ones that go over one eye. always find that very beautiful & sexy.
So i was gonna go little different this year and go with skirt and top. Aline pencil skirt with a sleeveless shirt that i have designed.  Found the fascinater that would go perfect with it.And red Lippy. maybe gloves but could be to much especially depending on the weather on the day. Fascinater is actually perfect because its headband and hat. well looks like a hat and it being a headband easy to remove and put back on straight away. cbf with messing around with all the clips.
I have Friday off so i was going to make my way down to the dress maker and get my shirt made but now im thinking twice do i want to wear a dress? i feel like i haven't worn a dress in ages. but same time its nice to go with a skirt at times. i thinks its because i found the skirt so early on that i have just been caught up on it since i still haven't worn it ever. I sound like a Dag but all i hope is that its really comfy and i wont have to touch anything on the day. i already know im gonna have trouble getting up and down with a pencil skirt thats expected but fingers cross can avoid sitting down on the picnic rug.
Another thing i luv about spring carnival is the champaign breakfast. eggs, toast, fruit juice and champaign with the special strawberry in the glass of course. i was thinking having the girls over and have the little picnic breakfast at the park at the end of my street. very cute when sun is shining. Looking forward to having pretty  photos. i luv photos that are taken during the day. having the natural sunlight in the photograph i luv.
Must always remember sunnies for the special day and sun tan lotion. im saying this but i always forget to put it on and take some with me.And of course its not only about the fashion must always put on a bet for the gorgoues horses.
im hoping my Gourgous friends from torquay come to the special Derby day. Two my girlfriends going and colleague of mine is going to. so shall be fun. Sounds so wrong but hoping my ex's sister goes to . Would be so nice and fun to all enjoy the day together.

House-mates birthday mexican dinner drinkys

after rushing home from work and finishing at 7pm. The dinner was at 7-30-8pm. My gf Soph being ready waiting in my room with my lap top on. w\Was happy she had me all sorted when i came home. On the way i had to pick up one of our cheap bottles of red of lumbrusco that my other gf Mell got me on to. luv her for that.
figured may as well since Soph and i never go out so much anymore and get all dressed up. May as well share a bottle.
Finally got there and was such a lovely evening enjoying with my close gf and my house mate who i call my big sister and her friends. Although i get along with all of them i just never seem to go out with them so much. shame. we just live different lives. but luv how we could all enjoy the special evening

It was my gorgeous house-mates birthday last Wednesday. We both had work the next day so i did something small and just woke her up at midnight to be the first one to wish her happy birthday!!!

last few weeks

i did write this whole long story but then my backspace button decides to not work and delete my whole thing. poo i was up all night doing it. im sorry im lazy so instead im just going to show you with photos with what i have been up to. So much has happened i dont know where to begin. the good and the bad.

* last 2 weeks been hanging out with my gf Soph since she had school holidays and was house sitting so we had endless nights of foxtell wine , pizza's and dips

* caught up with the ex again was lovely nice evening just a catch up with few beverages. but after that haven't heard anything. boys Annoy me!!!

* two good friends came down from torquay for a night of fun with me which was really cute and sweet. saying i was their savoir. So had a ball with them introducing them to some of my other friends who i use to work with. was so cute coming to mine they brought over two bottles of red wine and flowers. so sweet. i never expect anything from people, so its so nice to get gift for them to appreciate you

* Grandfinall was on for the football. just went to my best friends house Rachel's to have some food and drinks. was nice. all school friends.
