little pocketful thats inside me: September 2010

my delayed little catch up on my weekend. that has just passed. Nothing amazing happened however i luved every minute of it because i got .to spend quality time with some of my close friends. I had Friday off so i figured tell mum to come with me so could catch up with her at the same time. i had so many presents i owed friends. it was just getting ridiculous how they were adding up. so the list was buy every ones presents: Rachel my best friend known her my whole entire life. birthday was in July. Sophie's birthday present. never gave her a 21st gift either. And last Simone's engagement gift. known Simonne since kinda and didn't even make it to her engagement party because of stupid work. so upset about that. first gf to get engaged out of my group of girls from school. and the youngest.
Anyways felt good finally bought them all gifts and they luved them.along with all that had to purchase another clothing rack because mine collapsed on me the night before. was bound to happen however just had no energy to put one up again and sort through all my clothes.along with putting one together. I'm terrible with instructions.

I'm proud to say i attempted putting the easiest rack together however then Soph came around and finished it for me mainly because i failed; & she was a pro at ikea furniture so was happy and great full she just did her thing and finished it off.

was a lovely evening anyways we just hung out in my room relaxing talking about anything and everything reading magazines then sitting in silence for few hours. We were both so content we couldn't be bothered doing anything. got to 2am and thought hm.... lets hop into bed with the electric blanket.
Woke up early the next morning 8am on my weekend off. wasn't happy. annoying body clock naturally wakes up at that early hour. So thought i may as well start my day by wrapping Simone's present. i was happy looked so pretty with my wrapping :)

then i get a call from my ex who is now a mate. so it seems. letting me know his new furniture has come and he is back in bed because he cant be bothered putting it together this early. mind you it was still only 8:30 in the morning. We arranged to catch up once i go to the market with my gf. which was around lunch time. after the whole morning and realised i had to get few other things done. i ended up getting to his place around 3:30 in the afternoon.whoops. what can i say I'm always late. cant help it.
backtracking a bit. went to the up and comers market which wasn't as good as the last time i went however i did find the cutest little outfit. A lace white 3/4 sleeved boat neck dress with an a line and flower bottom. one that you play with to spin around and feel like a princess. picked up this little peach straw hat with the front flipping over and and big white lace bow holding it up with but of netting. Was so happy that the both looked so cute together and went so well with the boots i was wearing that day.Whole outfit reminded me having tea in the garden with few gfs. was very cutesy.

Cant wait to wear this little outfit. :)

Finally did everything else i was suppose to get done then made my way over to Ben's place. i thought of putting in a little effort to look all nice and pretty however i would like to him to think that with no make up anyways. So that's what i did. even thought i was tired already and my whole body was tanned and my face was white i still didn't put anything on my face to touch up. so really i went over there in a baggy bummy outfit with boots and face that looks like a ghost with a body that looked like just came back from a tropical holiday. O'well cbf putting more make up on more than i have to. i wear it every other day. he even asked me " hope you don't mind me asking however how come face is white and body tanned?" i told him straight out cbf with it especially when i knew i was going out in a few hours and don't want to put make up on twice in one day. he laughed but owell.watch me care.
We had our beer or two down the street which was nice in the sun then started to get bit chilly so we headed in for a bit then back out. my only dilemma was taking my sunnies off at that point. i already had no make up on & as soon as i have one drink my eyes go blood shot. so i was hesitant to take them off. i showed him for a bit and he totally understood so we thought was best to keep them on even though we were inside.
time was passing and my friend was messaging me to ask are u meeting us for dinner and gave me a time. mind you it was 6 o'clock when i got back to his house and i was catch up with his sister while he was making me cds and i still had to go home shower do my hair and make up before i headed out. so basically i had and hour and half but with me that's no time. We had decided since he had no plans and wanted a random night out. He joined me. so i rushed home as soon as i could showered and next thing i knew he was at my door already. annoying because when people are over i tend to go in slow motion. i was already falling asleep in the shower from those one to many beers i had earlier.
Finally got myself together and we headed off into a taxi and made our way down the bimbo's in Brunswick just enough time to meet one of the loveliest couples i know. Willow & Bri. They had come down to melb for the night because they had party they had to attend. thought was good opportunity for Ben to meet them since we all like the same style music and fashion and they are the same age. We all have the same style really. Was great for them to mingle because everyone there is all up for meeting new people and we all got along so well.As soon as they left Ben was saying how lovely and genuine they were. i luved that friends meeting other friends and saying they are so nice and friendly and good people. because shows how i have such special people in my life and how much i appreciate them.
unfortunately the the married couple had to go to there special dress up party. but i carried on with ben to some other cool bars that were all so close, which was nice not far with the walking. ended up being a good night like we always.

he suggested during the night why don't you call in sick for work. so that thought stuck in my head and that's what i did the next morning. However before morning came along i got home and sent him probable the most embarrassing message ever. i read it again in the morning and thought i probably shouldn't have sent that bt same time i was thinking screw it. was a message like saying what the hell no benifits? thought in my head hmmmm he could think differently of me but same time i didn't i care because i have no reason to. and we are only human. was all ok because i got the funniest response ever. really unexpected.this boy is like no other. people have no advice because its just insane for the way he acts upon things. Anyways the point to me mentioning this embarrassing little text saga is that how much i have changed and as you get older just care less and have more confidence. i would've have never done that in my life awhile ago. even Soph said wow so upfront with guys.i think why not. cbf with the playing games shit
Called up sick then finally got to relax a bit in bed.got up went out for breakfast with mum then caught up with an old school friend. Reggie/Regina. i see her around every 3 months as a catch up. i felt bad because she said to me why do we only see each other that often. we get along so well and we miss each other. Annoying never enough time in the day. anyways we had a lovely time together hanging out at her house then going into the city checking out this flea market. then back home. We were both felt so delirious and tired that we just felt like going home having a nap.

During the day i got a txt from Ben's sister. She planning her 30th which is in November. However she asked me to design or help style her for her special day. i felt so honored and great full. such a nice gesture. Was really sweet. just made me think again for such wonderful people in my life. Its so nice.
i was already half way to sophs house so thought i wold pop in to give her present. got there hung out for a bit then decided why not do what we did on Friday just chill at mine. we got a dvd bottle of wine just chilled on the couch.of course was me ending up falling asleep on the couch. that's pretty standard for me these days.which is really annoying but you can only listen to what your body needs i guess. rest

One thing i luved abot this week so far is that i had such and insightfull deep and meaning full conversation with my colligue/ good good friend Katheryn about love and life. So Strange and interesting at the same time

Wednesday night was the Jewish new year. although im Jewish i don't know much about the reasons behind it all.i do know is that you dip the apple and honey means to wish everyone happy new sweet year. one thing i know im great full for is getting to enjoy all the yummy and beautiful food that my auntie provides for that goes straight into my belly
usually we have a dining table and two long tressel tables going through the lounge room for all the famil.y however wasnt needed since half the family is over in New York for Jades wedding.
the thought did cross my mind "hmmmmmmm will that mean more food to enjoy" not the best way my brain thinks.
we Started off with the usual challah & gilfte fish. Dissapointed no carrots with it this time. they give it that little bit sweet taste.All good i was quiet content with a plate of smoked that was was sitting right infront of me. Followed by the famous chicken soup.
Then the mains come out! yay!!!! im not so big on all the meats even though i do eat them all. My favourites are all the different kinds of salad. my fave toight was cous cous pumkin salad. usully we have a cunmcumber whch is soaked in light weight yoghurt, a salad with fruit and nuts witha beautifull sweet dressing. yummy quiches, roast chicken all marinated. different kinds of potatoe cooked. everyone eyes off this one that is roasted but nt fullbrisy or crunchy but has all these herbs on them wihc are just beautifull.can be scalloped or just in 1/4 with the chiken. plates of thinly sliced beef.
Then the ice cream comes out with the bowl of strawberries. Vietta ice which always goes so fast and the checkboard chocolate and vanilla squares. ................i have two bowls of that because its not to heavy but once the bowls get cleared up from that course follows honey cake. i always do the mistake and eat heaps of ice cream and forget the cake. cant say no so i have few slices of honey cake the followed by a fruit platter.
Such a yummy and beautifull meal. you end up being so tired and bloated after but so worth it.
