obsession with skirts

really happy with the random outfit i put together thinking i didn't have anything to wear.
opaques, fake leather mini skirt, over sized black silky singlet tucked in with brown lace up Giorgio Armani shoes, with a over sized long grey Zimmerman blazer. so comfy and warm. perfect for the night it was cd launch in winter.

its all i want to wear at these days. When i go out, whether its for a birthday or for a big night out or a dinner. i   just have a thing for wanting all different kinds of skirts. i think its the best way to do an outfit. Could possibly be because i'm getting older however i think its a great staple to have. Not so dressed up but still have that dressy sense for a night out and have the feeling of confident and sassy flirty feel.

mixed emotions

thinking back on the lovely but stressful weekend. Birthdays drinks on Friday night, felt all nice and dolled up. Had the hair  and make-up done. Got my hair curled which i never do and mac did my wonderful make-up. was so happy with it. Was all excited to wear my special vintage dress i picked up from the alterations place in the city. long sleeved dress high neck had a v back however took out the zip made it a backless dress and put two thin  gold chains making it drape and hold up the rest of the dress. its was a beautiful night u until the taxi drove off with my bag and purse then jumping out the cab to try and find my camera. so then i got left with absolutely nothing and my phone was dead. thank gd for facebook being a survival for communication.

picked up my new favourite nail pollish, grey light purpley colour from mecca. "maria" is the name of.

cant wait to go back on my day off and purchase some more. they have some really nice cool laid back colours.

after all that i finally come home from my friends house in south yarra that took me all day to figure out a way of getting home with no cards or cash or even house keys.

finding two cds in my letterbox from a past bf cheered me up a little bit made me just want to get into bed with my best friend the heater and listen away.

ended up being an OK day the day after.spending all day on a futon bed while i laze around with my friend grant who made 1.5 slice of bacon and a egg for brunch. Receiving a call from the police station around the corner from me telling me they have my purse and bag. no camera which i was down about but i guess its only an object that can be replaceable.
